The forests of Sunderbans are the biggest mangroves in the world! One of our world’s natural wonders, this massive forest is also a tiger & ecological reserve. Every year, the tribals of the Sunderbans go in search of wild beehives in the mangroves and collect very limited quantities of this exotic wild honey.

Harvested from the mangroves of the Sunderbans, this rare and exotic honey provides livelihood to the indigenous people of the Sunderbans. Made by Apis Mellifera species of bees by collecting the nectar from different mangrove flowers like Khalisa, Gewa, Bain, Kewra, etc. This honey will transport you to the mangroves.

✅️ Natural honey can crystallize over a period of time. It is a natural feature of natural honey. Place the crystallized honey in a bowl of hot water or the sun for reuse.

✅️ Generally, natural honey does not have an expiration date and it can be used for a long time.

✅️ Natural honey is highly hygroscopic in nature, easily absorbs moisture in the air and ferments. Therefore, use clean and dry containers for dipping in honey.

Additional information :
Sundarbans honey foams due to the presence of water vapor. The density of this honey is low.
After receiving the parcel, when you open the lid of the jar, be sure to place a container underneath.

(Additional foam and pressure caused by road jolts can wear the honey out of the jar. After a few hours the foam will settle.)
Fermentation can be observed as there is no mixing and processing. This honey is completely raw.
Over time, this honey can develop a slight wine smell (madō gandha) and pungence.
If the honey is not used regularly, open the lid and keep it in the sun occasionally or in the open air.
To keep good for a long time, keep it in a glass jar at normal temperature, not in the refrigerator.
